A number of these "doomsday" economists seem to go way overboard with some of their prophecies. However, Roubini stays right on topic in this interview. Inflation in emerging markets is a very real concern, as we have documented in many, many posts. Inflation leads to instability, which can spread and become very problematic for the U.S. Keep in mind how dependent our economy has become on these emerging economies, such as China and India.
