(CNN) -- Tropical Storm Ophelia was moving west over the Atlantic early Wednesday, but there are no coastal watches or warnings in effect, forecasters said.
Ophelia had maximum sustained winds of about 45 mph (75 kph) with some gradual strengthening possible within the next day, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The storm is centered about 1,370 miles (2,205 kilometers) east of the Leeward Islands and is moving west at 13 mph (20 kph).
