Apotheker is out! Meg Whitman new CEO of HP!

After only 11 months, Leo Apotheker is no longer CEO of Hewlett Packard! After joining HP in November, Apotheker did some drastic steps like abandoning WebOS. This wasn't well seen in the company, therefore it was only a question of time kicking Leo out....
The successor is the former eBay CEO and California candidate for governor, Meg Whitman.

Meg Whitman - former CEO of eBay
Whitman declared that she is "honored and excited to lead HP" and "HP matters – it matters to Silicon Valley, California, the country and the world".

It seems that HP realized that they did a mistake to call Apotheker as CEO last year. They didn't only lose market share on the PC market but also HP's stock fell nearly 50 percent during his time at the helm...

We will see if Whitman is able to change the current trend of the company... only time can tell...
