Rumor: Motorola building a tablet with 4:3 ratio

The iPad 2 is the best-selling tablet of the world right now. We believe, that's not a secret. But why is that so? Because of the software? Because of the hardware? Because of its build quality? Or just because it's from Apple? Those are probably the same questions which Motorola asked themselves. And they've come to the decision that it's about the format of the screen. Yes, you've read that just fine.

According to rumors, Motorola is working on a tablet with a 4:3 ratio and a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. But it will not be the Xoom 2. It's supposed to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich and to be released later this year or early next.

If you ask us, the ratio of 4:3 is probably one of the first things we would change about the iPad 2. But if Motorola thinks, it's gonna push their sells, we can only wish them the best of luck. Let's just hope, it will not look like a clinched version of the Xoom as the picture above.
