LG's next generation smartphones leaked!

With the Optimus Black, the Optimus Speed and the Optimus 3D, LG did is doing a pretty good job this year. And just like every company, they wanna do it even better next year. As our friends of pocketnow.com report, there are seven (!) new phones to be released this year. Read on to see all the details we've got so far about every phone.

  • 16GB of internal memory
  • dual-core processor
  • 8MP camera
  • 8.8mm thin
  • Android 2.3

the LG Univa
  • 3.5 inch display
  • 800MHz processor
  • 5MP camera
  • 11.9mm thin
  • Android 2.3

the LG Victor
  • 3.8 inch OLED display (WVGA)
  • 1 GHz single-core processor
  • 5MP camera
  • DLNA support
  • Android 2.x

the LG Gelato
  • 3.2 inch display (HVGA)
  • 800MHz processor
  • 3MP camera
  • version with an NFC chip (Near Field Communication) in Q4
  • Android 2.x

the LG E2

There's not much to say about the E2, yet. It's supposed to be a very cheap and small phone. Camera will have only 3 megapixels and it will surely run any version of Android. That's all for now.

the LG Fantasy

The infos on the Fantasy are also very poor. One thing is for sure: it will run Windows Phone 7 Mango. As most other WP7 devices, it will probably have a 1GHz single-core processor and a 5MP camera. And the design seems pretty similar to the HTC HD7, doesn't it? Well, that's certainly not a bad point.

last but most certainly not least, the LG K

Unfortunately, ther's no picture of it available, yet. But it's not unlikely that this is one of the first smartphones with a true 720p HD display (1280x720). Pocketnow.com believes, this could be the device currently known as the P930. 4.5 inches are pretty reasonable, but of course, not confirmed.

Once again, each one of these devices is to be released this year. That's one good reason to be looking forward to the cold time of the year.
