HTC + Dropbox = 5GB of free storage for your smartphones!
After acquiring "BeatsAudio", today HTC announced another great deal: Every new HTC phone is going to have 5GB of cloud storage - for free!
Today, if you sign-up at Dropbox, it is normal to get 2GB of cloud storage. But in future, HTC users will get more than double of free cloud space - at least if your device is running Sense 3.5.
Not bad, hm? We think so, too! While there are several cloud based storage services like iCloud from Apple or Microsoft's SkyDrive, no one comes close to Dropbox, because it is easy to handle but especially because of its compatibility to other operating systems.
It is still unclear if the current or older devices (like the Sensation or the Desire HD, for example) will get an update to Sense 3.5, but we will keep you informed!

HTC Sensation XE confirmed!
Not long ago, HTC released their new flagship the HTC Sensation. Now, they confirmed the release of a slightly improved version - called the Sensatioin XE. It sports a faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a larger 1,730mAh battery, the newest version of HTC's Sense - namely Sense 3.5 - and it's HTC's first device under their partnership with "BeatsAudio". Read on to find out exactly what this means.
BeatsAudio is a function that's supposed to deliver customers a superior sound quality. In detail, as soon as the included "Beats by Dr. Dre" headphones are plugged into the headphone jack, the phone activates a Beats-optimized sound profile delivering fuller bass, sharper vocals and broader range - according to HTC at least.
here you can see the included headphones

The Sensation XE is set to be released sometime this month in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Rumor has it, that it's gonna cost about 590€ ($820) in Europe, which we find pretty believable. What about North America? Well, unfortunately that is still unclear.

Screenshots of HTC Puccini alias Jetstream leaked!
A few weeks ago, we showed the first wo pics of HTC's first 10-incher. Now we've got two more: But this time, it's screenshots! Our friends of pocketnow.com posted one pic of the device's homescreen and one of the settings menu. Read on and enjoy.
As you can tell from the pictures, AT&T is most likely to be the carrier and the device might be named "HTC Jetstream".
To our mind, the pictures don't look bad. But it just looks like the old stuff we already know since Froyo. What about breathing new life into Sense, HTC? Maybe change the clock widget, maybe add some new icons for browser, camera, mail, etc. As HTC is already late for a 10 inch honeycomb tablet, we would have expected something more... mind-blowing. But those are just leaked pictures, of course. Let's hope, HTC is gonna have a little bit more for us.

Pics of HTC's new tablet leaked - codenamed Puccini
Wondering why there isn't even one 10.1-incher with Honeycomb from HTC? Wondering why one of the most successful (and CG's favorite, by the way) smartphone manufacturers doesn't want a piece of that Honeycomb pie? Well, so are we. But everyone can stop wondering... eventually. According to our fellows of bgr.com, the pictures shown are from the long awaited HTC Puccini - the codename of the device. Read on to find out all the rumored specs and to see the two promising pictures.
- 10.1 inch display (1024x800)
- 1.5GHz dual-core processor
- 8MP camera with dual-LED flash
- stereo speakers
- microphone
- supports stylus input
- Android Honeycomb with HTC Sense
- 4G (LTE)
If someone asked us, we would say "give that thing a quad-core processor and it'll be one hell of a tablet". Sadly... nobody did. But still, this are awesome news and we are more than extremely looking forward to the first Honeycomb tablet with HTC Sense and stylus support. Stay tuned.

HTC sold twice as many devices as last year!
In Q2 this year, HTC has sold 11 million (!) devices. This time last year, it were "only" 5 million.
This means an increase of 120%! This is especially due to the fact that HTC hast got more popular in specific areas. Either way, this is amazing and CG can only congratulate. Keep up the good work, HTC!

First Yes, than NO, now YES again to Gingerbread update for the HTC Desire
Good News for Desire users: today we reported that HTC won't update the Desire. Now there is a turnaround. Few minutes ago HTC UK posted that it will bring the update to the 2010 model of the Desire. Sounds a bit strange, few hours ago they claimed the device wouldn't have enough RAM...
