World Debt Ratings

This morning we are watching as the world markets react to the S&P downgrade of the United States.  Certainly this downgrade is warranted, regardless of the fact that these agencies have proven themselves to be way behind the curve, out of touch, and borderline fraudulent.  Markets still react to what these agencies do, so we need to pay attention.  It now looks like there will be some additional downgrades of various other sovereign debt ratings around the world.
