MIUI ROM gets its own smartphone - the MI-ONE!

A while ago, we informed you about probably the best (at least, to our mind) Custom ROM for Android - MIUI. Now (about two months later) a smartphone, specifically designed for this ROM, is announced. And it's called the "MI-ONE". The Chinese manufacturer "Xiaomi" will be responsible for building the device. And we all know what this means - China will be up first when it's hopefully gonna be released around October, this year. Read on for some pictures, the pricing and the specs.

If we can take the rumors for face value (and we do), for about $315 you're gonna get those incredible specs:

  • unlocked bootloader

  • Android 2.3.5 with the MIUI ROM (of course)

  • 4 inch display with 854x480 pixels at a 16:9 ratio (built by Sharp)

  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Snapdragon S3)

  • 4GB of internal memory (up to 32GB more with Micro-SD)

  • 1GB of RAM

  • 8MP rear camera with LED-flash

  • 1930mAH (!) battery

  • dimensions: 125 x 63 x 11.9 mm, weight: 149g

  • so called "MI-Button" which launches a specific app or takes a picture

  • interchangeable back covers in different colors (7 at the moment, with more to follow)

Pretty impressive, to our mind. Now enjoy the pics:

As we've already expressed our sympathy to this ROM, you can imagine how much CG is  looking forward to this smartphone superphone. We hope, it will be released soon and we're sure you'll follow suit.
