Archos announced two honeycomb 3.1 tablets!

Looking for a honeycomb tablet but those available at the moment just don't suit you? Well, thanks to Archos, you'll have two more tablets to choose from soon. The "80 G9" and the "101 G9", the only difference being the screen with 8 inches (1024x768) on the "80" and 10.1 inches (1280x800) on the "101". Read on for the full specs.

  • incredibly big harddrive of 250GB (!)
  • powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
  • a full-size USB port
  • upgradable to 3G with the G9 3G WWAN stick for $49
  • HDMI output

Archos is going to release both in September, the "80" for 279 and the "101" for 349 bucks. As for pricing and specs, those two tablets would sweep all competitors out of the way. Sounds too good, right? That's what we thought, so we stay sceptic until we hold it in our own hands. Stay tuned!
